| You have accomplished a lot at this point. You are reading the right hand and the left hand, you have played hands together, you have learned your fingering, counting and are now learning chords. It has been a fast pace and we are going to slow down this week and review.
LESSON 13 INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Start with page 1 of the compositions and play
through page 13. 2. This
week we are playing chords C and F. It is important to be able to move from chord to chord quickly
and easily. Remember you are not only playing the correct
notes but you are also building finger and hand control. Strengthening the fingers and hands is very important and playing chords is an
excellent exercise. The rhythm lessons will teach the left hand chords
and how to play songs using the chords.
Some songs you will
know and others will be more on blues and rhythms. |
