   What's next?
Jazz Piano and Advanced Piano Arranging

What You will discover in our
Jazz Piano Lessons

The next level of playing is learning Jazz.
Jazz Piano isn't just the art of improv, it's taking your
music to the next level:

WARNING: This is not a hear and play method,
You will actually learn how to apply every lesson
to your own songs.

  • Let's use "Over the Rainbow" as an example.

Look at the sheet music in this song.  Now hear the chords and sounds that have been added in the jazz lessons.              "Over the Rainbow:MP3
Substitution chords have been added, and jazz scales.
Isn't it beautiful?  And.....yes it's jazz but you can see it's used in the pop method.  You can add substitution chords to all of your music.

  • Next, we learn how to add our extensions, 9th's, 11th's and 13th's.  Plus, open harmony in the left hand.
Now you have a basic foundation.

  • Adding Jazz Scales.  Jazz Scales can be added to
all music for fill-ins, and they are used for improv.

Using  "All the Things you Are" MP3  we now add
bass lines and improv.  I will show you exactly what
jazz scales to use with what chords.  Plus, how to
use motivic development to write your own improv
    ideas.

  • Next we move into using comping chords and improv.  Stella by Starlight  Mp3, This is so much
fun, and you can do it too.  Not to mention how
you have already reached a level of expertise, and
your technique has changed 100%.  Once you play
from knowledge, your playing will change too.  Zipping up and down the keyboard.

  • Now let's turn to blues.  I will give you the exact
scale formulas and exactly how to incorporate blues
into all your songs.  "I Got Rhythm"  Written in Blues, MP3

You're now playing Jazz, adding substitution chords,
extensions, jazz scales, bass lines, comping chords,
improv, and you are playing at an advanced level.

Wow! You've really come a long way now.  Here are
    more songs in your lessons:
    "Green Dolphin Street MP3
    "Amazing Grace", MP3 "
    "Georgia on my Mind"
    MP3,
    "Route 66"
    MP3

    "Willow Weep for Me"
     MP3

Did I mention that I have also made it affordable?  This is the important part.

No, you don't have to order all the expensive
DVD's and order each class separately, adding hundreds of dollars trying to learn and high level playing.  WHY?  Because, I was asked to share and pass on this work so it is availabe to everyone.

The lessons are easy to use:
  •  Study the lesson and theory
  •  How to apply it to an actual song
  •  How to practice
  •  Lesson instructions
  •  The lessons are written out for printing
  •  Each lesson is taught in audio
  •  Hear all the music
  •  Each lesson comes with Mp3
.......It couldn't be easier to learn, it's like having
Alana sitting right next to you..........................

The Jazz Piano Lessons page has listed each individual lesson.
