Note From Alana:
Every practice session should begin with the practicing of scales
and finger exercises. As with any type of physical exercise, the
muscles need to “warm up” before we use them for physical demands. I suggest that before every practice session, sit at the
piano quietly with hands in your lap and allow your concentration
to move from the outer world to the piano. As you begin practicing
finger technique your concentration will become stronger and you
will be able to completely focus on your work. |
